14842 - LAMP Developer (hybrid) - Tallahassee, FL
Start Date: ASAP
Type: Temporary Project.
Estimated Duration: 12+ months with possible extensions
Work Setting: Hybrid, environment consisting of both on-site and remote work

Required:
  • Experience with Programming/systems analysis (2+ years);
  • Experience Designing, developing, enhancing, supporting, and maintaining enterprise web applications using the LAMP stack (Linux, Apache, MySQL, and PHP) and modern application frameworks and technologies, including Laravel, Symfony, Model-View-Controller (MVC), Entity Framework, or C#;
  • Experience with Relational database design, SQL development, and database administration using MySQL, Oracle, or Microsoft SQL Server;
  • Experience with Source control, version control, and DevOps tools, including GitHub, Azure DevOps, or Team Foundation Version Control (TFVC);
  • Experience Developing and integrating RESTful Application Programming Interfaces (APIs), middleware, or middle-tier database integration components;
  • Experience Troubleshooting and resolving application defects, ensuring data integrity, implementing application security best practices, and providing functional and technical support;
  • Experience Developing accessible web applications that comply with WCAG and Section 508 standards;
  • Experience with Application architecture, software development lifecycle (SDLC), testing, documentation, deployment, and maintenance;
  • Experience with Web technologies, including HyperText Markup Language (HTML), Cascading Style Sheets (CSS), JavaScript, Asynchronous JavaScript and XML (AJAX), JSON, jQuery, and Bootstrap;
  • Experience with RESTful APIs, web services, JSON/XML data exchange, and system integration;
  • Experience with Active Directory or enterprise authentication technologies;
  • Experience with Secure software development principles and cybersecurity best practices;
  • Experience with Relational database design and modern data platforms, including relational databases, SQL, NoSQL, and vector databases;
  • Experience with Cloud computing and modern application architectures;
  • Experience with Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning (ML), generative AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), AI-assisted software development tools, and intelligent document processing;
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or other related field, or equivalent work experience.

Preferred:
    • Experience Evaluating, integrating, or developing solutions using Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning (ML), generative AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), intelligent document processing, AI-assisted software development tools, embeddings, vector databases, and NoSQL databases;
    • Experience with Cloud technologies;
    • Experience with Enterprise architecture.

Responsibilities:
    • Assist in the application design, development, enhancement, maintenance, and customer support of the Court Application Processing Systems (CAPS) and Digital Court Recording System (DCR);
    • Provide data and report;
    • Analyze the technical feasibility of proposed projects;
    • Resolve complex software problems;
    • Develop new productivity tools and methodologies;
    • Provide production support;
    • Design, develop, enhance, support, and maintain enterprise web applications and database integrations.
