Job description

Business Development Associate — TruBlue Serving Davenport

Location: Davenport / Kissimmee, FL (field-based, with some flexibility) Type: Part-Time (10–20 hrs/week to start) Reports to: President, Arpin Solutions, Inc. (dba TruBlue Serving Davenport)

About Us

TruBlue Serving Davenport is a locally owned home services franchise providing handyman, home maintenance, and senior modification services to homeowners across the Davenport and Kissimmee area. We're a brand-new business built on trust, reliability, and genuine community connection — and we're looking for someone who can help us build that reputation from the ground up.

About the Role

We need a self-motivated grassroots marketer who can act as an extension of ownership — someone comfortable getting out into the community, building relationships, and generating leads without needing constant oversight. This role has two connected focus areas: broad community/grassroots marketing, and building a referral channel within the senior care space (home health, home care agencies, and related providers). This is a hands-on, entrepreneurial role, ideal for someone who wants ownership over how they grow a territory.

What You'll Do

Community & Grassroots Marketing

  • Represent TruBlue at community events, home shows, farmers markets, and local business mixers
  • Distribute door hangers, flyers, and yard signs in target neighborhoods
  • Build relationships with local real estate agents, property managers, and HOAs
  • Bring creative, low-cost marketing ideas to the table and help test what works in this market

Senior Care Channel Development

  • Build and maintain a target list of senior care and healthcare-adjacent providers in the Davenport/Kissimmee area
  • Conduct outreach through calls, emails, and in-person visits to introduce TruBlue's services and identify referral opportunities
  • Track outreach activity — response rates, meetings booked, common objections — and report findings weekly
What We're Looking For

Required

  • Lives in or near the Davenport/Kissimmee/Poinciana area
  • Comfortable talking to new people and starting conversations in person
  • Reliable transportation and valid driver's license
  • Able to work independently with minimal supervision

Preferred

  • Experience in field marketing, sales, healthcare/senior care outreach, real estate, or community partnerships
  • Familiarity with senior care or healthcare-adjacent markets a plus — we'll train on specifics
  • Bilingual (Spanish/English) a plus
Ideal Candidate Profile
  • Energetic and comfortable talking to new people, whether at a community event or walking into a facility
  • Curious about how to build a market from scratch, and coachable enough to turn field feedback into action
  • Comfortable operating in an early-stage environment where processes are still being built
  • Passion for small business and an interest in growing with the company long-term
First 90 Days
  • Learn TruBlue's services and value proposition
  • Build a target list of senior care providers in the Davenport/Kissimmee area alongside general community outreach
  • Begin outreach through events, door-to-door efforts, and senior care visits/calls
  • Track activity (outreach volume, response rate, meetings booked) and report weekly
  • Identify early referral partnerships across both channels
Compensation
  • $18–$20/hour, based on experience
  • Plus performance bonuses for qualified leads and booked jobs
  • Flexible schedule; some evening/weekend availability for events preferred
