Job description

I have a new opening for a Mainframe Documentation Developer role with Texas Department of Transportation (TX DOT).
Candidates must be local to Austin, TX (living within a 25-mile radius of Austin, TX currently, no relocating candidates will be considered).
On-site work is required 4 days per week for this role at the TX DOT office.
Sub-vending is allowed. The max rate is $75/hr on C2C. The interview process will be 1 technical interview and then an offer will be made. I will reply shortly with an ilabor #

SCTASK Reference number SCTASK1544769 DIR-ITSAC Role (including level) Software Developer 2 TxDOT work to be accomplished This position will provide functional and operational support for AASHTOWare Project Vendor Management (APVM), ensuring accurate maintenance and effective use of construction vendor and vendor relationship data that supports letting and construction activities. The contractor will work closely with Construction Division stakeholders to interpret construction vendor requirements, support vendor data lifecycle activities (including qualifications, insurance, sanctions, subcontractor relationships, and complex vendor updates), and assist in resolving vendor-related issues impacting construction operations. This role will also support cross-system coordination where APVM vendor data is consumed by downstream construction and project delivery systems, help reduce reliance on manual workarounds, and ensure vendor data integrity during ongoing system enhancements and operational changes.
