Job Description We are seeking a ServiceNow Software Engineer IV to lead and manage the enterprise Unauthorized Change Detection (UCD) program that prevents, detects, and remediates unauthorized changes across critical systems. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in ServiceNow Change, Event/ITOM, CMDB/CSDM, and workflow automation and a proven ability to consolidate multi-source detection, automate reconciliation to approved changes, and ensure compliance with ITIL 4 and financial-sector regulatory requirements. Responsibilities: Run and manage the Unauthorized Change Detection program, including strategy, governance, metrics, and continuous improvement.

Consolidate detection from ServiceNow, Tripwire, and mainframe DB2/SAVER into a single ServiceNow workflow and dashboard, ingesting external events into the ServiceNow Event table. Design and maintain automated reconciliation logic that matches detected events to approved changes, and drive investigation and remediation for unmatched items. Partner with Change Enablement, Security, Infrastructure, Application, and Mainframe teams to resolve unauthorized changes and prevent recurrence.

Oversee ServiceNow integrations, data mapping, workflow design, dashboards, and operational reporting. Ensure alignment with ITIL 4 best practices and OCC/FFIEC change management expectations. Prepare evidence for internal audit and regulatory exams, and maintain clear documentation and control design.

Lead a small cross-functional team and influence key stakeholders. Required Skills & Qualifications: 7+ years in ITSM, Change Enablement, Platform/SRE Operations, or Security Operations within a regulated financial environment. Hands-on expertise with ServiceNow Change, Event/ITOM, CMDB/CSDM, Flow Designer, and IntegrationHub.

Experience with Tripwire and mainframe reporting such as DB2/SAVER or similar detection and file integrity monitoring tools. Demonstrated ability to build or oversee automated reconciliation between detection sources and approved changes. Solid understanding of ITIL 4 practices including Change Enablement and Monitoring & Event Management.

Strong governance, analytical, and problem-solving skills, including root-cause analysis and corrective action planning. Excellent communication skills for executive reporting and audit or regulator interaction. Preferred Skills: ITIL 4 Managing Professional; ServiceNow CIS certifications; CISA, CISM, or CRISC.

Experience improving change quality, reducing false positives, and designing control dashboards. Understanding of NIST, OCC, and FFIEC change and configuration management expectations. Knowledge of DevOps pipelines, cloud change and event signals, or CI/CD reconciliation.
