ABOUT US

Noyes Self Storage is a locally owned and operated facility affiliated with Earle W. Noyes & Sons, one of Maines most trusted moving and storage companies. We take pride in offering a clean, secure, and friendly environment for our residential and commercial customers.


POSITION OVERVIEW

We are seeking a dependable, customer-focused Assistant Self Storage Manager to help with day-to-day operations at our facility. You will work alongside a manager to keep the property running smoothly handling rentals, collections, and facility maintenance while delivering outstanding service to every customer who walks through our doors.


SCHEDULE & HOURS

This is a full-time position with the following schedule:

  • Monday through Friday regular business hours
  • Alternating Saturdays 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Sales & Leasing

  • Handle phone, in-person, and web inquiries and professionally convert leads into rentals
  • Process leases, payment records, and tenant data using storage management software
  • Assist customers with retail carton and packing supply purchases
  • Coordinate storage solutions for household and commercial projects with Earle W. Noyes & Sons staff

Collections & Compliance

  • Understand and consistently enforce facility rules and lease terms
  • Overlock delinquent units and manage access until accounts are brought current
  • Maintain detailed tenant notes within the management software

Facility & Operations

  • Conduct daily walkthroughs to inspect and document facility condition
  • Keep the office, storage bays, and restrooms clean and clutter-free
  • Ensure sidewalks and entry areas are cleared promptly after snowstorms
  • Identify maintenance issues and coordinate with appropriate vendors for repairs
  • Open and close the facility daily, confirming the building is secure and unoccupied at close
