This is primarily a Salesforce administrative role, with development and scripting support ( NOT a senior/full-time developer role). You will be asked to interact with end users at times; however, this is not a primary stakeholder-facing position. The successful candidate must be comfortable taking directions, collaborating closely with the Team Lead and Lead Developer, and contributing within an established technical team structure.

  • Salesforce administration

  • Marketing and communication automation

  • ETL tooling and scripting

  • Technical diagramming/documentation (highly preferred)

Additional Information:

  • This role requires residency within the state of Utah.

Salesforce

  • Configure and maintain Salesforce environments, including user management, security settings, automation, and data integrity

  • Create and manage custom objects, fields, record types, validation rules, page layouts, and workflows

  • Familiarity with Apex, Lightning Web Components ( LWC ), Salesforce APIs, or integration development

  • Support reporting, dashboards (Tableau, PowerBI, etc.)

Data Integration & ETL Support

  • Support and maintain AWS -based ETL pipelines and integrations between Salesforce and other institutional systems

  • Assist with data architecture, transformation, and synchronization across platforms

  • Write and troubleshoot SQL and SOQL queries

  • Experience with AWS services such as Lambda, S3, or related ETL /data pipeline technologies

Collaboration, Documentation & Technical Support

  • Gather technical requirements and assist in implementing solutions under the direction of senior technical staff

  • Create and maintain technical documentation and system diagrams, including ERDs, UML diagrams, process flows, and integration mappings

  • Collaborate closely with the Team Lead and Lead Developer on technical initiatives and project execution

  • Provide internal user support, troubleshooting, and knowledge sharing

Email Marketing/Automation

  • Segment data for email communications using suppression lists and defined criteria to reach target audiences

  • Utilize marketing automation tools to achieve desired outcomes through dynamic solutions, rather than static updates

  • Apply basic UI/UX skills to assist with creating email templates for users when needed
