Our client is looking for a Senior Social Work Assistant to join our Area Services team in Birmingham. We are a "One Team" organization dedicated to high support and high challenge, working together to make Birmingham the greatest city to grow up in.

What will your responsibilities be?

  • Case Management: Act as the "allocated worker" for specific cases as assigned by the Team Manager or Social Worker.
  • Assessments: Complete assessments that comply with statutory requirements, ensuring the well-being and safety of the child is always paramount.
  • Direct Support: Provide practical day-to-day support to children and their families.
  • Data Analysis: Collect, record, and critically analyze information using management systems to fulfill statutory responsibilities.
  • Partnership Working: Liaise with other professionals and agencies to ensure services are "joined up" and achieve optimal outcomes.
  • Reporting: Accurately record and communicate evidence-based information through written and verbal reports.
  • Service Development: Attend team meetings and service reviews to contribute positively to the team's outcomes.
