Job description

Production Associate

Our Snap-on Tool Storage plant located in Algona, Iowa is looking for Production Associates.

Wages start at $23.20 with increases every 30 days worked until you reach top pay of $26.73.

  • Typically openings are on 2nd and 3rd shift, with occasional 1st shift openings.
    • 1st shift hours are 7am to 3pm with overtime worked between 5am and 7am
    • 2nd shift hours are 3pm to 11pm with overtime worked between 11pm and 1am
    • 3rd shift hours are 11pm to 7am with overtime worked between 9pm and 11pm

Overtime is paid after 8 hours/day and on Saturdays   

  • Ideal candidates will have:
    • A high school education
    • Be able to work in a fast pace environment and repetitively handle 5 to 35 lbs.
    • Follow verbal and written work instructions
    • Maintain a safe and clean work environment
    • Manufacturing experience is a plus, but not required
    • Regular attendance is required for success

Previous newly hired associates are typically assigned to the following positions:

  • Assembly- assemble and pack tool storage units
  • Welding- form (bend) and spot weld metal components
  • Painter Helper- hang and remove parts from the paint line and material handling of loads to and from line
