Job Overview

BLADE is looking for a Ground Logistics Associate to work at our Newark, NJ airport

Join the Ground Logistics Team and work with us to usher in a new age in aviation-one where our unmatched flier experience, mobile technology, and renowned brand identity enables us to create new products and expand to new markets, both domestically and abroad.This is a part-time job located at BLADE's Newark airport lounge.

Responsibilities
  • Take inbound and make outbound phone calls to manage customer service for BLADE's helicopter, seaplane, and private jet fliersCommunicate between BLADE and its operations team as well as passengers
  • Track fliers incoming commercial flights and coordinate pick up with BLADE drivers
  • Ensure a continued strong relationship with the FBO's by communicating and ensuring we are upholding their rules
  • Receive SIDA training and badging for Port Authority
  • Meet & Greet representative for incoming VIP's
  • Duties may also involve cross-functional work assisting in marketing, supporting business development, assisting with flight organization, interviewing customers on their flight experience, assessing new application ideas, researching competitor offerings, and aggregating data on potential markets
Required
  • 1+ years of experience in a customer facing position (e.g. sales, customer service, etc.)
  • Possess excellent interpersonal skills
  • The ability to work well under pressure
  • The ability to travel to and from regional airports
  • Excellent time management skills
Desired
  • Interest in travel and aviation is a plus

Compensation for this role is $20-25/hr. Individual pay is determined by internship role, department, experience, job-related skills, and level of education.

As a non-exempt employee, you will be eligible for overtime as per state guidelines.
