Draft the Bridges That Keep Ohio Moving.
The Mannik & Smith Group (MSG) is seeking a full-time Structural Drafter to join our team and work on impactful bridge and transportation projects across Ohio. If you have a passion for producing precise, construction-ready drawings and want to contribute to projects that improve communities, this role is a perfect fit.
Key Responsibilities
As a Structural Drafter, you'll be at the heart of our bridge design projects, producing high-quality construction documents and supporting the full design process:
  • Develop and produce detailed drawings in MicroStation to meet ODOT and local agency standards
  • Prepare construction plans ready for bidding and construction
  • Assist with data preparation and quantity calculations for engineering plans
  • Plot, collate, and compile plan sets for agency and construction submittals
  • Support general office tasks such as document prep, scanning, and filing as needed
  • Contribute to presentations and project deliverables, ensuring clarity and accuracy

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
  • 5+ years of experience in civil/structural engineering drafting
  • 2+ years of bridge design experience required
  • Proficiency in MicroStation
  • Experience with ODOT standards a plus
  • Working knowledge of MS Office
  • Valid state-issued driver's license with a clean driving record
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
