Diagnostic accuracy and quality control:
You evaluate images for technical quality, process and analyze data, and ensure imaging equipment is properly calibrated and functioning at all times.
Mastery of safety and compliance:
You follow all radiation safety protocols, apply ALARA principles, and ensure compliance with federal, state, and institutional regulations while maintaining a safe work environment.
Patient-centered care:
You guide patients through each procedure-providing clear explanations, monitoring their condition throughout the exam, and ensuring their safety, comfort, and confidence at every step.
Workflow ownership and organization:
You manage documentation, maintain accurate patient records, monitor inventory of radiopharmaceuticals and supplies, and ensure all materials are ready for efficient daily operations.
Collaboration and teamwork:
You work closely with radiologists, physicians, and clinical teams to support accurate diagnoses and optimal patient outcomes.
Mentorship and professionalism:
You support student technologists during clinical rotations-providing hands-on training and reinforcing best practices in patient care, safety, and technical performance.
What You'll Gain
Purpose-driven work:
Your expertise directly contributes to accurate diagnoses and patient care-helping physicians detect and treat disease through advanced imaging.
A collaborative clinical environment:
Join a team committed to maintaining high standards, strong communication, and shared accountability in patient care.
Consistency and work-life balance:
Enjoy the stability of outpatient imaging with predictable workflows and a focus on efficiency and quality.
Growth opportunities:
As SimonMed continues to expand, opportunities for advancement, cross-training, and career development are readily available.
