Beep is transforming the way communities move - and we're looking for a dynamic Operations Supervisor to support the launch and continued operation of our new Atlanta deployment.
In partnership with Atlanta Beltline Inc. (ABI), this role is at the forefront of autonomous mobility, ensuring safe, reliable, and innovative mobility services for the public.
The Operations Supervisor is a key leader ensuring the smooth execution of Beep's autonomous shuttle operations in Atlanta. This role combines hands-on operational oversight with strategic workforce management, safety compliance, and client engagement. You'll support the Site Manager, leading a dynamic team, drive performance excellence, and uphold Beep's commitment to safety and customer satisfaction.

What You'll Do
Operational Ownership
• Support the overall operation of Beep's autonomous mobility service, ensuring safe, reliable, and efficient daily operations.
• Maintain ownership, alongside the Site Manager, of site performance, service delivery, and operational readiness.
• Coordinate across operational functions including vehicle operation, maintenance, safety, and client success.
• Ensure vehicles, infrastructure, and operational systems are maintained and ready for service.
• Support vehicle operations as needed, including operating the vehicle as necessary.
Personnel Management
• Train, schedule, and supervise site personnel including shuttle attendants and operational staff.
• Foster a strong culture of safety, accountability, and operational excellence.
• Provide coaching, performance management, and professional development for field team members.
• Support staffing levels and scheduling to ensure consistent service coverage.
Client & Stakeholder Management
• Serve as the secondary onsite liaison with the client and other local stakeholders.
• Build strong relationships with partners and represent Beep in meetings, public engagement, and operational coordination as necessary.
Performance Management & Reporting
• Monitor operational performance metrics including service reliability, safety performance, and customer satisfaction.
• Support the Site Manager is procuring regular operational reports , providing updates to internal leadership and external stakeholders.
• Maintain accurate operational records including staffing, service logs, incidents, and maintenance activities through the appropriate provided tools.
Safety, Compliance, & Incident Response
• Support site safety initiatives and ensure strict adherence to operational protocols and regulatory requirements.
• Respond to incidents, investigate, and complete reports promptly.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local regulations.
Continuous Improvement
• Identify operational challenges and suggest process improvements that enhance efficiency and service quality.
• Parter with internal teams to support technology updates, operational testing, and service enhancements.
• Drive cost-effective solutions while maintaining high standards for safety and reliability.
Requirements
What We're Looking For
Core Qualifications
• Valid driver's license with 3-5 years of driving experience and a clean driving record.
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, Transportation, Logistics, or a related field.
Experience
• 3+ years of leadership experience in transportation, transit, mobility services, or related operations.
• Proven track record managing field teams, transit operations and maintenance, or autonomous vehicle programs.
• Proficiency with tools such as Jira, Fleetio, Tableau, and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Familiarity with autonomous vehicle technologies and smart mobility systems is highly desirable.
• Strong grasp of safety regulations and compliance standards (DOT, NHTSA, OSHA, EPA).
Leadership and Communication
• Strong Leadership presence with ability to motivate teams and maintain operational discipline.
• Excellent communication and relationship management skills.
• Comfortable representing the company in client-facing and public environments.
Analytics and Strategic Thinking
• Demonstrated ability to analyze operational data, identify trends, and implement process improvement.
• Experience with budget management, financial planning, and performance metric reporting.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills in complex operational environments.
