What is small demolition?

Small demolition refers to the process of safely dismantling or removing smaller structures, interior spaces, or specific elements within a building, such as walls, bathrooms, or kitchens. It is typically less extensive than full-scale demolition and often done to prepare for renovations or remodeling projects. What are some common safety challenges faced in small demolition roles, and how are they typically addressed on the job?

In small demolition roles, workers often encounter safety challenges such as handling hazardous materials, working in confined spaces, and preventing structural collapses.
