The Store Manager (SM) has multiple deliverables including but not limited to serving as the staff manager, operations administrator, and training facilitator. Across each week, the SM spends most of their time on shift, working alongside the team to set an inviting tone for the shop and oversee daily operations. The SM utilizes their managerial skills to facilitate a smooth workflow and best practices for all staff, ensuring the delivery of a high-quality product and guest experience. The SM is responsible for all new staff onboarding, performance reviews, ongoing skills training, and facilitating espresso training with eligible baristas. Administratively and operationally, the SM manages the shop’s overall performance, the staff schedule, and all inventory. This role is designed for someone with strong skills in team management, leadership, inter-personal communication, organization, café finances, and delivering a consistent, high-quality guest experience. The SM demonstrates proficiency across all stations and positions within their respective location.
