DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION:
- 4 state of the art Cath Labs and one Neuro Lab which just opened in March 2023 for cardiac catheterization, structural heart, and neurovascular procedures.
- These busy labs provide technology and expertise for Baystate's award winning STEMI program and comprehensive stroke treatment, as well as scheduled cases, about 4000/year.
- Staff are cross-trained and rotate through scrub, monitor, and circulator duties, and work as a team to manage the fast-paced workflow.
- A supportive, individualized and thorough orientation is provided with a knowledgeable, experienced staff member.
- Hours are Monday-Friday, no holidays, with call coverage for emergencies 7:30p-7am and on weekends and holidays.
- Call commitment is one overnight shift once a week, and one weekend shift every 6 weeks. Staff have a 30 minute required response time; call sleep room is available for those who live outside the time range.
- Critical care experience preferred but not required.

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Successfully passed Board of Registration in Nursing Examination and is licensed in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts
- Current American Heart Association Health Care Provider CPR certification required.
- Experience: Minimum 1 year RN experience required.
- Education: AND required; BSN preferred.
