Who You'll Work With
Slalom Philadelphia is seeking a Director or Senior Director Client Partner to help grow and deepen our Financial Services business across the Greater Philadelphia market. This role is focused on expanding existing accounts and driving new opportunities with insurance clients undergoing business and technology transformation.
You will partner closely with capability leaders and delivery teams to position Slalom as a trusted advisor for large-scale transformation initiatives, particularly across core insurance systems, operating models, and cloud-enabled modernization. This role carries meaningful portfolio ownership while remaining hands-on with clients, proposals, and delivery leadership.
What You'll Do

  • Identify opportunities for growth and maturation of Slalom offerings and help set the direction for that growth within the insurance vertical
  • Provide oversight and governance for all sold and managed engagements, ensuring delivery quality, appropriate staffing, and utilization management
  • Drive business development efforts within the vertical, including opportunity shaping, SOW creation, and RFP responses
  • Maintain awareness of insurance industry best practices and how Slalom capabilities align to client needs
  • Partner with clients to influence strategic direction and identify ways Slalom can help achieve business objectives
  • Bring deep insurance industry knowledge, including regulatory pressures, modernization trends, and where the industry is headed
  • Lead and contribute to proposal development, clearly articulating client context, business drivers, and transformation rationale, with a strong change management lens
  • Represent Slalom with a high degree of professionalism and credibility in all client-facing interactions
  • Collaborate with Philadelphia market leadership, insurance capability leads, and cross-market partners

What You'll Bring
  • 10+ years of consulting experience in the Financial Services industry, with a focus on Insurance
  • Strong understanding of insurance industry trends, operating models, and technology transformation
  • Experience working with core insurance systems, management systems, or operating systems
  • Proven success owning and growing client portfolios in a consulting environment
  • Experience leading complex client programs and transformation initiatives
  • Background supporting or leading cloud and modernization efforts (including AWS)
  • Demonstrated ability to evaluate and develop proposals with a business transformation and change management perspective
  • Experience building trusted relationships with senior client stakeholders and executives
  • Highly professional presence; consistently represents the firm with confidence and credibility
  • Strong collaborator and people leader with a hands-on, client-facing mindset
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills, with the ability to build clear, executive-ready materials in PowerPoint, Excel, and Word
