What is an SLA manager?

SLA Managers are professionals responsible for overseeing and ensuring that Service Level Agreements (SLAs) between service providers and clients are met. They monitor service performance, resolve issues related to service delivery, and work to continuously improve service quality. Their role includes analyzing data, preparing reports, coordinating with multiple departments, and communicating with clients to maintain satisfaction. SLA Managers are crucial in maintaining trust and accountability in business relationships.

How does an SLA manager typically collaborate with technical and business teams to ensure service agreements are met?

An SLA Manager works closely with both technical teams (such as IT support, operations, and engineering) and business stakeholders to monitor, report on, and improve service delivery according to established Service Level Agreements (SLAs). This often involves facilitating regular meetings, reviewing performance metrics, and addressing any service issues proactively. Effective communication and negotiation skills are essential, as the role requires balancing technical capabilities with business expectations. SLA Managers also document processes and escalate unresolved issues to ensure continuous improvement and customer satisfaction.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as an SLA manager, and why are they important?

To thrive as an SLA Manager, you need expertise in service level agreement management, IT service management practices, and a relevant degree such as in business or information technology. Proficiency with ITSM tools like ServiceNow or BMC Remedy and certifications such as ITIL are commonly required. Strong soft skills include negotiation, analytical thinking, and effective communication to manage client expectations and resolve service issues. These skills ensure that service delivery meets agreed standards, fosters client satisfaction, and drives continuous improvement in IT operations.

What is the difference between Sla Manager vs Service Delivery Manager?

We're in the midst of the greatest industrial revolution of our time. The demand for AI compute is boundless, and power is a bottleneck. We're solving that — with an energy-first approach that makes AI infrastructure better for the world and faster for the people innovating with AI.

We're looking for problem-solving, opportunity-finding teammates with a sense of urgency, who believe in the scale of our ambition and thrive on a path not fully paved — people who want to grow their careers alongside a team of experts across energy, manufacturing, data center construction, and cloud services.

If you want to do the most meaningful work of your career, help our customers and partners advance their AI strategies, and be part of a high-performing team that believes in each other, come build with us at Crusoe.

About the Role:

We’re looking for a Manager, Candidate Experience to lead and operate the coordination engine behind Crusoe’s Corporate, GTM & Manufacturing hiring. This is a hands‑on role responsible for building a reliable, trusted and high‑velocity interview process across the Corp & MFG Recruiting org. You will manage an amazing group of Recruiting Coordinators, while also reviewing coordination and candidate surveys to influence roadmap planning and decision making.

What You'll Be Working On:
  • Manage a team of global recruiting coordinators who own interview scheduling end‑to‑end: multi‑panel loops, cross‑timezone logistics, interviewer alignment, candidate prep materials

  • Provide a high‑attention to detail for the teams coordination work ensuring team SLA’s are being met and identify any improvement opportunities to workflows and capacity

  • Manage load balancing, maintain calibration and accuracy, coordinate debriefs, and enforce process hygiene

  • Elevate scalable, compliant and personalized approach to candidate and hiring team experience, leading initiatives (ex: candidate & partnership surveys) to continuously raise the bar

  • In partnership with the Sr. Manager, build out coordination team capacity model and ensure team SLA’s are being met; identify any improvement opportunities to workflows and capacity

  • Partner closely with recruiters and hiring managers to anticipate bottlenecks and proactively solve them

  • Troubleshoot complex bottlenecks

  • Partner with recruiting leadership to grow the team: hire for IC Coordinators, onboard them, and set them up for success

What You'll Bring to the Team:
  • 5+ Years in the recruiting coordination or operations field at a high growth tech company

  • 2+ Years in a leadership role managing team performance and metrics

  • Exceptional organization, communication, and follow‑through

  • Comfortable owning both execution and process building

  • High operational rigor; thrives in fast‑moving, ambiguous environments

  • Strong familiarity with Ashby (or similar ATS)

Bonus Points
  • Workday HRIS experience

  • Knowledgeable about Candidate and Hiring Experience team surveys; interpreting results, NPS scores, etc.

  • Experience building and/or running interview training programs

  • Proficiency in additional recruiting and AI tools such as Coder Pad, Metaview, Glassdoor/Indeed

Benefits:
  • Competitive compensation and equity packages

  • Restricted Stock Units

  • Paid time off, paid holidays & leave of absence programs

  • Comprehensive health, dental & vision insurance

  • Employer contributions to HSA account

  • Paid parental leave

  • Paid life insurance, short-term and long-term disability

  • Professional development & tuition reimbursement

  • Mental health & wellness support

  • Commuter benefits (parking & transit)

  • Cell phone stipend

  • 401(k) Retirement plan with company match up to 4% of salary

  • Volunteer time off

  • Global travel insurance & emergency assistance

  • Daily meals allowance

  • Additional perks & programs specific to location

Compensation Range

Compensation will be paid in the range of up to $110,000 - $135,000 + Bonus. Restricted Stock Units are included in all offers. Compensation to be determined by the applicant's knowledge, education, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
