REPORTS TO: Director of Campus Operations 
  
POSITION TYPE: 12-month

COMPENSATION: $19.86 - $24.69 per hour

We serve the students of Houston, Texas, the 4th largest city across the United States. There are over 20 public-school districts and other great public charter school options  within Houston’s city limits serving our increasing population.  
  
THE ROLE 
When you join the YES Prep team, some of the work and responsibilities will include: 
100% of student errors resolved prior to PEIMS 
  • Thinking strategically about student data management and provide organizational leadership with recommendations for preserving data integrity and streamlining systems; 
  • Establishing and maintaining student files ensuring all personal and academic records are kept current and accurate including the confidentiality of such files; 
  • Oversee proper file organization and storage; Managing and maintaining student and PEIMS data entry in student information system; 
  • Completing data verification and corrective action set by Home Office internal audit results;  
  • Serving as a liaison between campus personnel and Home Office regarding student information; 
  • Ensuring compliance with all state, federal and organizational policies and procedures with regards to student data; 
  • Compiling and maintaining complex records and reports involving a large number of unit records and a large volume of changes;  
  
Campus maintains 0 missing grades at the end of each grading cycle 
  • Coordinating the dissemination of verification reports to designated campus coordinators and stakeholders; 
  • Publishing all progress reports and reports card accurately and on time 
  
100% of transcripts are accurate based on internal deadlines 
  • Collaborating with testing coordinator to ensure state testing records and scores are displaying accurately in the student information system and filed in students’ cumulative folders; 
  • Assisting the Director of Campus Operations with creation of student schedules and dispersion of transcripts to the appropriate parties at time of enrollment; 
  • Entering and maintaining personalized graduation plans (PGPs), endorsements, credits by exam (CBE), end of course (EOC), and transfer credits in student information system and student cumulative folders; 
  • Completing any transcript corrections or updates in student information system;  
  
98% of annual enrollment forms are submitted and approved by the end of Q1 
  • Drive a proactive annual enrollment strategy implementing automated reminders, hosting support sessions, and monitoring real-time dashboards  
  
New student registration data is approved and accurate in Skyward 
  • Organizing, managing, and leading the enrollment, registration and withdrawal processes for all students; 
  • Maintaining the distribution of student information to all responsible personnel of special programs and campus personnel; 
  
Withdrawn students are accurately reflected in student database and leavers updated 
  • Conducting and fulfilling student record requests for students, families, school personnel and external stakeholders; 
  • Processing all withdrawals for students and tracking post withdrawal enrollment 
  • Assisting with coverage of front desk as needed, including warmly greeting and assisting all visitors, answering and processing all incoming calls in an efficient and rapid manner;   
  • Additional duties as assigned.

  •  Compensation – This position is an non-exempt, hourly position; salary offers commensurate with experience.  
  
  • Health and Supplemental Insurance – A $0 monthly medical option that includes $600 towards a Health Savings Account, in addition to a variety of supplemental benefits including Dental, Vision, Disability, Life, etc. Employees must work 20+ hours a week to be eligible for a full spectrum of benefits, and 10 hours a week minimum for medical benefits.
