Start Date: 07/13/2026

Position Duration: Contract assignment (details discussed upon application)

Shift: Days, typically standard daytime hours

Licensure/Certifications: Active Physical Therapist Assistant license; CPR certification highly preferred

What You'll Do

  • Evaluate patients' function through formal and informal testing to assess skeletal, neurological, respiratory, and cardiovascular health
  • Develop goal-specific treatment plans based on assessment data and patient tolerance
  • Submit and update treatment regimes in coordination with physicians, ensuring plans are aligned with patient needs and progress
  • Devise treatment schedules, including frequency and duration, in collaboration with patients, families, and clinical staff
  • Educate patients and caregivers on pathology, treatment options, prognosis, and home exercises or modalities to promote health and recovery
  • Assist in delegated responsibilities and support supervisors as needed

What You Need

Required:
  • Valid Physical Therapist Assistant license in Michigan
  • CPR certification
  • Minimum 1 year of outpatient therapy experience (preferred)
  • Strong patient education and communication skills
Preferred:
  • Experience with neurological or orthopedic outpatient populations
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
