What you'll do:

• Assess patient's physical function through formal and informal testing
• Develop and implement goal-specific treatment plans based on assessments and patient tolerance
• Collaborate with supervising Physical Therapist to ensure appropriate care plans
• Educate patients and families about their condition, treatment options, and prognosis
• Document treatment activities and update care plans as needed
• Support the healthcare team in delivering high-quality outpatient therapy services
• Ensure compliance with physical therapy standards and facility policies

What you need:

• Valid Michigan Physical Therapist Assistant license
• Minimum 1 year outpatient therapy experience preferred
• Strong assessment and patient education skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Commitment to patient-centered care
• BLS certification (preferred but not required)
