Job description

Privia Medical Group is seeking a Nurse Practitioner interested in Primary Care to join our exceptional, family-oriented primary care practice in Thompson and Canterbury, CT. We pride ourselves on performing high-quality care by practicing unhurried, patient-centered care and treating our community like family.


Quick Look:

  • Schedule: Full-Time | Monday - Friday | 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM
  • Call/Weekends: None. No on-call, evening, or weekend requirements.
  • Locations: Outpatient clinics in Thompson and Canterbury, CT (20 minutes apart).


Practice Overview:

  • Supportive Environment: Work collaboratively alongside 2 Board-Certified Physicians, 2 physician assistants, and a highly tenured support staff featuring a dedicated 1:1 Medical Assistant-to-provider ratio.
  • Broad Scope of Care: Manage the full spectrum of chronic and acute conditions for a diverse patient demographic spanning from newborns to geriatrics, seeing an average of 16-20 patients per day.
  • Clinical Duties: Provide comprehensive primary care, including routine physicals, annual wellness exams, and basic womens health care, with a strong emphasis on relationship-building and continuity of care.

  • Compensation & Benefits: Offering a competitive guaranteed base salary alongside a comprehensive benefits package.


Qualifications:

  • Licensure: Active, unrestricted Connecticut NP license (or eligibility to obtain).
  • Experience: Open to all experience levels; new graduates are highly encouraged to apply.
  • Attributes: Strong bedside manner, a relationship-based approach to care, and HIPAA compliance.

Colorado, New York, New Jersey, California, Connecticut and Washington Residents Only: The salary range for this role is $110,000 to $120,000 in base pay and exclusive of any bonuses or benefits. The base pay offered will be determined based on relevant factors such as experience, education, and geographic location.
