The Skeletal Orthopedic Sports Rehab Clinic is actively seeking a dedicated Full-Time Orthopedic Physical Therapist to join our committed team in Norfolk, Virginia. This role involves guiding patients through their rehabilitation journey, helping them regain mobility, overcome physical limitations, and achieve their personal health goals. You will employ your expertise in orthopedic outpatient therapy to deliver exceptional care that transforms lives.

Located in the heart of Norfolk, Virginia, Skeletal Orthopedic Sports Rehab Clinic is a state-of-the-art rehabilitation facility dedicated to providing top-tier orthopedic care. Our clinic spans 5,000 square feet and is equipped with advanced sports medicine technologies to support a wide range of therapy innovations. Our team consists of experienced professionals, including two other physical therapists and a physical therapy assistant, all united in our mission to elevate patient care and rehabilitation outcomes.

Work Environment

Our clinic features a vibrant and collaborative atmosphere that fosters professional development and teamwork. You'll work onsite during standard business hours, Monday to Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a structured schedule that promotes work-life balance. The facility's layout supports both individual therapy sessions and group fitness classes, creating a dynamic environment that enhances patient interactions and outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of new patients to establish their rehabilitation needs and develop tailored treatment plans.
  • Implement a variety of therapeutic exercises and manual therapy techniques to facilitate patient healing and mobility restoration.
  • Maintain a manageable patient caseload of one patient per hour, allowing for focused, one-on-one attention to each individual's care.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare providers to share insights and optimize patient treatment outcomes.
  • Utilize EMR software, including WebPT, to document patient progress and treatment interventions, ensuring thorough record-keeping and compliance.
  • Educate patients and their families about injury prevention, exercise techniques, and overall health and wellness to promote long-term well-being.
  • Monitor and evaluate treatment effectiveness, making necessary adjustments to care plans based on patient feedback and observed progress.
  • Actively participate in continuing education opportunities to remain updated on new therapies and best practices in orthopedic rehabilitation.
