What You'll Do

As an Operations Manager, you'll lead day-to-day hauling, landfill, metal yard, MRF, and toilet service operations while developing your leadership team and driving performance across safety, service, and profitability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and supervise hourly employees and frontline supervisors at our hauling site, landfill, metal yard, MRF, and portable toilet service.
  • Monitor routes and staffing; adjust resources in real time to meet service demands
  • Partner with the Site Manager on budgeting and P&L performance
  • Coach, develop, and hold accountable a team of frontline leaders
  • Assist in creating/managing policies and procedures
  • Conduct field inspections and safety audits to ensure compliance and best practices
  • Handle and resolve customer escalations with professionalism and urgency
  • Oversee environmental, OSHA, and local regulatory compliance
  • Set and execute short- and long-term operational goals
  • Drive a strong safety culture and continuous improvement mindset

What We're Looking For

  • 5+ years of leadership experience in a fast-paced, people-heavy environment
  • Proven ability to manage large teams and shifting priorities
  • Experience with operations, logistics, or field-based teams
  • Exposure to budgeting or P&L management
  • Strong decision-making, communication, and leadership skills
  • Proficient in Excel and business systems
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Willingness to relocate for advancement opportunities
