P&E Constructors is an employee-owned (ESOP) mechanical and electrical construction firm executing large capital projects with deep roots in the industrial construction sector. Since 1946, we've delivered fabrication and installation services with a commitment to safety, quality, reliability, and client-focused solutions.
Work Location & Travel Expectations
This role supports projects across the United States and requires a high level of travel based on business and project needs. Candidates may be based anywhere within the U.S.; however, the selected individual should be prepared for assignments at various project locations nationwide. Travel for this position may reach up to approximately 90%.
Project assignments generally last 10 to 17 months, depending on project duration and operational requirements. While assigned to a project away from home, eligible employees are provided per diem to assist with temporary living and travel-related expenses, in addition to a competitive base salary. To support project deployment, mobilization assistance may be provided, which can include mileage reimbursement or other approved travel support.
Position Overview
The Site Admin is responsible for providing administrative, accounting, workforce, and project support for industrial construction projects. This role serves as a key liaison between field operations, project management, accounting, human resources, safety, procurement, subcontractors, vendors, and corporate departments to ensure efficient project execution and accurate project documentation.
The Site Admin will support project financial controls, document control, workforce logistics, compliance tracking, and daily site office operations. This position requires exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, professionalism, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced industrial construction environment.
Responsibilities
  • Manage daily site administrative operations and office functions to support project execution
  • Coordinate workforce logistics, site access, badging, onboarding, travel, lodging, and personnel records
  • Maintain project documentation, including contracts, purchase orders, permits, drawings, specifications, compliance records, and closeout documents
  • Prepare and maintain project reports, logs, correspondence, meeting minutes, presentations, and tracking systems
  • Serve as a liaison between field teams, subcontractors, vendors, clients, and corporate offices to ensure accurate communication and document control
  • Support equipment, vehicle, and asset tracking, including utilization reporting and inspection documentation
  • Maintain employee training, certification, safety, environmental, and regulatory compliance records
  • Assist with project financial reporting, administrative support for all departments, and special project assignments
  • Support safety initiatives, workforce communications, and employee engagement activities while ensuring compliance with company policies and client requirements

Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Construction Management, or a related field preferred
  • 3-5 years of administrative, accounting, project coordination, or construction administration experience
  • Experience supporting industrial, mechanical, manufacturing, or construction projects preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Experience with ERP, accounting, document management, or construction management systems preferred
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal, customer service, and relationship-building skills
  • Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail
  • Ability to function effectively in a fast-paced project environment with excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize competing deadlines

Work Environment & Physical Demands
  • Lift, carry, push, and pull materials or equipment weighing up to 50 pounds
