Key Responsibilities
- Patient Care: Prepare patients for dental procedures, ensure their comfort, and provide post-procedure care instructions.
- Dental Radiography: Perform high-quality dental x-rays in strict compliance with safety protocols and state regulations.
- Chairside Assisting: Assist the dentist chairside during a variety of general dentistry procedures.
- Infection Control: Sterilize dental instruments, disinfect treatment rooms, and strictly maintain infection control standards.
- Clinical Documentation: Accurately chart patient information, update electronic health records, and assist with organized record keeping.
- Office Operations: Help manage appointment scheduling and monitor clinical inventory to ensure seamless daily workflows.
Required Qualifications
- Licensing: Active state-issued Dental Radiographer License / Radiation Health and Safety (RHS) certification (Required).
- Certifications: Current CPR certification.
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience in dental assisting is highly preferred, but we will consider highly motivated, recently certified candidates.
- Technical Proficiency: Strong familiarity with dental radiography, instrument sterilization techniques, and basic dental software systems.
- Interpersonal Skills: Exceptional patient care, clear communication skills, and a collaborative, team-oriented attitude.
