Dental Assistant (X-Ray & RHS Certification Required)

In this role, you will play a vital part in supporting our practice by preparing patients, assisting chairside, and keeping our clinical operations running smoothly. Key Responsibilities

  • Patient Care: Prepare patients for dental procedures, ensure their comfort, and provide post-procedure care instructions.
  • Dental Radiography: Perform high-quality dental x-rays in strict compliance with safety protocols and state regulations.
  • Chairside Assisting: Assist the dentist chairside during a variety of general dentistry procedures.
  • Infection Control: Sterilize dental instruments, disinfect treatment rooms, and strictly maintain infection control standards.
  • Clinical Documentation: Accurately chart patient information, update electronic health records, and assist with organized record keeping.
  • Office Operations: Help manage appointment scheduling and monitor clinical inventory to ensure seamless daily workflows.

Required Qualifications

  • Licensing: Active state-issued Dental Radiographer License / Radiation Health and Safety (RHS) certification (Required).
  • Certifications: Current CPR certification.
  • Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience in dental assisting is highly preferred, but we will consider highly motivated, recently certified candidates.
  • Technical Proficiency: Strong familiarity with dental radiography, instrument sterilization techniques, and basic dental software systems.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Exceptional patient care, clear communication skills, and a collaborative, team-oriented attitude.
