Job Description:
Staff Field Applications Engineer specializing in power electronics, switching power supply design, and GaN/Si technologies, supporting customers with technical solutions, design optimization, and application engineering.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Provide switching power supply design support using power electronics products, GaN technology, and Si-based solutions

  • Deliver expert technical support and field application engineering guidance to global customers

  • Analyze complex technical issues in power supply design and provide optimized engineering solutions

  • Conduct detailed design reviews including schematic review, PCB layout review, magnetics design, and performance validation

  • Advise on component selection, power electronics components, and optimization for high-performance switching power supplies

  • Support sales teams through customer visits, technical presentations, and application engineering consultation

  • Deliver technical training, application notes, and product demonstrations to customers and partners

  • Assist with trade shows, seminars, and technical marketing initiatives to promote power electronics solutions

  • Perform worst-case analysis, circuit analysis, and validation for switching power supply designs

  • Collaborate with engineering, sales, and manufacturing teams to deliver integrated application solutions
