Blackfire Signs & Graphics is a growing full-service sign and graphics company specializing in high-quality custom signage, vehicle wraps, wall murals, window graphics, dimensional lettering, ADA signage, monument signs, post & panel signs, and large-format digital printing. We take pride in producing exceptional work, meeting deadlines, and providing outstanding customer service. We are looking for an experienced leader who is passionate about sign fabrication, takes pride in quality craftsmanship, and wants to grow with an expanding company.
Position Summary:
We are urgently searching for a hands-on leader who can efficiently operate production equipment, prioritize workflow, maintain quality standards, and ensure projects are completed on time. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, self-motivated, and thrives in a fast-paced production environment. This individual should be comfortable working independently while collaborating closely with Project Managers, installers, and customers when necessary.
Responsibilities:
  • Production Operations - manage day-to-day production operations, shop workflow, work orders, and production schedules.
  • Prioritize projects to meet installation deadlines while maintaining quality control and efficiency.
  • Fabricate and produce a wide variety of signs, including vehicle wraps and fleet graphics, window graphics, wall murals, dimensional lettering, ADA and wayfinding signage, banners, Post and Panel signs, PVC, ACM, and acrylic signage, interior and exterior business signage, vinyl graphics, and custom fabricated signage.
  • Operate HP Latex Wide Format Printer, Vinyl Plotter, Mimaki Laminator, Co2 Laser machine, panel saw, and other hand fabrication and finishing equipment.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized production facility that aligns with OSHA and company safety procedures.
  • Collaborate with the installation team and assist as needed.
  • Coordinate daily production priorities, communicate project status with project managers, and assist with training new production employees when needed.
  • Foster a positive, professional, team-oriented work environment.

Qualifications:
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in the signs and graphics industry.
  • Extensive experience producing a wide variety of commercial signage.
  • Experience operating large-format printers, vinyl cutters, laminators, and finishing equipment.
  • Experience producing printed vinyl for vehicle wraps and wall graphics.
  • Experience using Adobe Illustrator, Flexi, Lightburn, and other RIP software.
  • Strong knowledge of vinyl application techniques.
  • Experience reading production files and shop drawings.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds.
  • Comfortable using ladders and assisting with installations.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

Compensation: $50,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
