FASTSIGNS of San Jose-Campbell is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Production Specialist / Signs & Vinyl Installer to join our team. This role is a hybrid production and installation position responsible for helping produce high-quality signage while ensuring projects are completed efficiently, accurately, and on schedule.
The ideal candidate works well in a team environment, takes pride in craftsmanship, and is comfortable both in the production shop and at customer installation sites throughout the Bay Area. This position will partner closely with another production/installation specialist to maintain workflow efficiency, meet deadlines, and deliver exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities

  • Produce and prepare a variety of signs, graphics, and vinyl products
  • Perform scheduled on-site installations including:
    • Storefront door lettering
    • Vehicle lettering and graphics
    • Window and paneled graphics
    • Sign mounting
    • Acrylic lettering installations
  • Operate and assist with large format printers, laminators, vinyl cutters, and CNC routing equipment
  • Weed, mask, laminate, trim, and finish graphics accurately and efficiently
  • Read and follow work orders to ensure production quality and accuracy
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized production workspace
  • Work closely with team members and management to prioritize projects and meet client deadlines
  • Assist with loading, unloading, packaging, and preparing completed signage for delivery or installation
  • Help ensure all finished products meet company quality standards
Qualifications

  • Previous sign production, vinyl installation, or graphics experience preferred
  • Experience with vehicle graphics, wall/window vinyl, and signage installation is a plus
  • Comfortable using hand tools, ladders, and installation equipment
  • Ability to lift and move materials up to 50 lbs
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
  • Positive attitude and commitment to quality workmanship and customer service
  • CA Driver's License
