Job Description: NPI Project Manager

Title: NPI Project Manager

 In Office /Remote: /Hybrid

 Exempt / Non-exempt

Based: Manila, Philippines

Department: Operations  |  Reports To: Director of Project Management

Job Purpose:

Navitas Semiconductor (Nasdaq: NVTS) is a next-generation power semiconductor leader driving innovation in gallium nitride (GaN) and high-voltage silicon carbide (SiC) technologies. Our products enable faster, more efficient power delivery across AI data centers, high-performance computing, energy and grid infrastructure, and industrial electrification.

With more than 30 years of combined expertise in wide bandgap technologies, GaNFastâ„¢ power ICs integrate GaN power, drive, control, sensing, and protection, delivering faster power delivery, higher system density, and greater efficiency. GeneSiCâ„¢ high-voltage SiC devices leverage patented trench-assisted planar technology to provide industry-leading voltage capability, efficiency, and reliability for medium-voltage grid and infrastructure applications.

We are seeking a NPI Project Manager to join our fast-growing, collaborative team. Based in Manila, Philippines, this role serves as the local operational backbone of the global NPI Project Manager team — supporting the Director of Project Management and Senior Manager in executing NPI programs for GaN and SiC power semiconductor devices, while owning day-to-day tracking, reporting, and cross-functional follow-up for assigned programs. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to thrive in a high-growth, innovative environment, contributing directly to technologies that are shaping the future of power electronics.

Key Responsibilities and Duties:

Support to Director & Senior Manager

  • Assist the Director of Project Management and Senior Manager in executing assigned NPI program tasks, action items, and follow-up activities
  • Prepare and maintain program status updates, trackers, and summary reports for leadership and executive reviews as directed
  • Coordinate input from cross-functional teams and consolidate into concise program updates ready for senior review
  • Flag risks, blockers, and open issues to the Director or Senior Manager with supporting data and recommended escalation actions
  • Take ownership of specific workstreams or deliverables delegated by senior leadership, ensuring completion on time and to defined quality standards

Assigned NPI Project Follow-Up & Execution

  • Own day-to-day tracking and follow-up for NPI programs assigned by the Director or Senior Manager, from sampling through qualification and production ramp
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date program schedules, milestone trackers, and action item logs for all assigned programs
  • Drive action item closure across engineering, supply chain, quality, and foundry/OSAT teams, escalating to the Senior Manager when items are at risk
  • Monitor NPI gate deliverables and proactively flag upcoming deadlines or at-risk milestones to the responsible Project Manager or Senior Manager
  • Ensure assigned program documentation — meeting notes, decision logs, and change records — is maintained accurately and accessibly

Local NPI Operations Support (Manila)

  • Serve as the local Manila point of contact for day-to-day NPI program coordination, bridging the Manila operations team with global counterparts in the US, India, and Asia
  • Coordinate scheduling, minutes, and action tracking for NPI core team meetings and cross-functional syncs across time zones
  • Follow up with local and regional teams on outstanding deliverables, ensuring timely responses to global program stakeholders
  • Compile and distribute NPI status reports and dashboards for assigned programs on a weekly and monthly cadence
  • Maintain NPI program databases, trackers, and shared project management tools; leverage AI productivity tools including Microsoft Copilot and Claude to automate reporting and data consolidation

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Other Characteristics (KSAO’s)

  • Strong organisational skills and exceptional attention to detail; ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English; ability to work effectively across global, geographically distributed teams
  • Proactive, ownership-driven attitude with a track record of reliable follow-through with minimal supervision
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365 and AI productivity tools: Excel, PowerPoint, Word, SharePoint, Copilot, Claude
  • Ability to work across time zones; comfortable interfacing with US, India, and Asia-based teams

Required Qualifications

Basic

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Operations, Supply Chain, or related field
  • 1–3 years of experience in project management, operations, supply chain, or a related field; semiconductor or electronics industry experience preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and follow through on assignments with minimal supervision
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365 and AI productivity tools: Excel, PowerPoint, Word, SharePoint, Copilot, Claude
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to work effectively across global teams

Preferred

  • Experience in semiconductor NPI, manufacturing operations, or OSAT/foundry coordination
  • Familiarity with NPI program lifecycle (design → qualification → HVM) in a fabless or semiconductor environment
  • Exposure to project management tools such as MS Project, Smartsheet, or Planner
  • Experience supporting senior managers or directors in a fast-paced, global operations environment
  • PMP or equivalent project management certification is a plus

What We Offer

  • A front-row seat to the future of power electronics. Work on cutting-edge GaN and SiC technologies that are transforming AI data centers, electrification, and global energy infrastructure.
  • A fast-paced, high-energy environment. We move quickly, make decisions with purpose, and empower employees to take ownership and drive real impact from day one.
  • A team that shows up and delivers. We care deeply about our mission, our customers, and each other. We collaborate, support one another, and bring intensity and accountability to everything we do.
  • Full support to succeed. You’ll have access to leadership, cross-functional collaboration, and the resources needed to innovate and execute at a high level.
  • Competitive total rewards. Comprehensive health, dental, and vision coverage, and a competitive compensation package including base salary, bonus, and equity awards.
