Responsibilities
Walter P Moore has an immediate opening for a Project Manager to join our dynamic Structural Engineering group in our Las Vegas office. The qualified candidate will have at least 9-12 years of relevant experience working on design of office buildings, healthcare facilities, sports venues and other large commercial structures with construction costs of $25 million and up. Project management experience is required.
The qualified candidate should possess a high energy level and be a self-motivated project manager who can work within a strong team environment, serving clients on major projects throughout the United States and internationally. Technical specialization, proactivity and aggressiveness when meeting client and project needs, are pluses.
Clients will include architects, developers, institutions, and contractors. In addition to all the skills listed above, the qualified candidate should possess a strong "can-do" customer service attitude.
Qualifications
  • 9 -12 years of experience in relevant commercial building design
  • Demonstrated career growth that includes project management experience
  • Master's in Civil Engineering with emphasis in Structural
  • S.E. license in Nevada is required
  • Candidates must be proactive, have strong organizational skill, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and be client-service oriented

Candidates applying for this position should have the ability to commute to or periodically travel to the affiliated office.
To ensure the ability to setup a suitable home office space, Walter P Moore offers a one-time $1,000 stipend that would be paid upon completion of the first week of employment. An additional $50 monthly stipend will also be provided to cover ongoing home office expenses.
