Shift: Monday–Thursday 7:30 AM – 5:00 PM | Friday 7:30 AM – 11:30 AM

• Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced professional for an Accounting position supporting a growing construction company in Oklahoma City. This Accounting role will manage full-cycle accounting functions including job cost tracking, accounts payable and receivable, and financial reporting.

The ideal candidate for this Accounting opportunity has a strong background in construction accounting and understands project-based financial operations. This is an in-office Accounting position.

• Required Experience & Skills

  • Previous construction accounting experience required

  • Strong understanding of job costing and project-based accounting

  • Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Excel

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

  • Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment

  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities

• Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Perform full-cycle accounting including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll support, and general ledger maintenance

  • Maintain and track job costing and project-related financial data

  • Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and financial statements

  • Assist with monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing processes

  • Prepare financial reports and support budget tracking

  • Review invoices, subcontractor payments, and lien waivers for accuracy

  • Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards

  • Collaborate with project managers and leadership to support construction project financial tracking

• Preferred Education

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred

  • Minimum 2+ years of accounting experience required

  • Construction industry accounting experience strongly preferred
