Katke Golf Course

  Advertised Salary: $13.73   Summary of Position: Golf shop assistant will be helping in the shop and checking in guess with tee times. Working in the Pro Shop and Janke Learning center   Position Requirements: - Prefer background and knowledge of retail operations and golf knowledge is beneficial.
- As an individual who is responsible for driving on behalf of the university, a driving record check will be run pursuant to university policies.  The individual will be required to sign an authorization to run a criminal history background and driving record check.
- Safe driving is mandatory at all times while operating a golf cart on the course.   Essential Duties/Responsibilities:

- Assisting with tournament operations
- Answering phone calls
- Assisting members and guests with tee times and check in upon arrival
- Receiving, restocking and displaying of merchandise,
- Cash handling and operating a point of sale system
- Setting up customers with Trackman bays
- Indoor and outdoor range ball coverage
- Maintaining organization and light cleaning of all areas.

- Operates university motor vehicles, including golf carts, safely while carrying out job responsibilities.
- Staging carts in the morning and throughout the day. Taking carts from the barn to the staging area.
- Using carts to manage the course- Ranger duties, assist customers when needed
- Returning carts to the wash area and parking in the barn to recharge.
- Pick Balls from the range- Return balls to wash and fill the ball dispenser
- Set up course for events
- Driving golf carts on public roads is strictly prohibited.
