JOB SUMMARY
As an employee-owned company, every sign we install represents our shared pride, craftsmanship, and commitment to quality. In this role, you’ll work hands-on to install custom signage of all types - turning designs into finished displays that make an impact for our customers. We’re looking for dependable team players who take pride in their work, enjoy working outdoors and on-site, and want to grow their skills in a supportive, collaborative environment.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Operate crane truck to install interior and exterior signage according to work order specifications and project deadlines
  • Read and interpret work orders, drawings, and other documents to determine project specifications and installation requirements
  • Verify that materials, tools, and vehicles are properly prepared for each installation
  • Safely and efficiently operate tools, equipment, and vehicles in compliance with OSHA and company standards
  • Collaborate with other production departments to resolve issues and ensure efficient workflow and on-time delivery
  • Communicate project updates, changes, delays, or issues promptly to client, Field Manager, and Installation Manager
  • Ensure accuracy, quality, and craftsmanship in all installations
  • Record job details in production software by updating hours, uploading photos, closing work orders, and documenting materials, procedures, and specifications
  • Maintain clean and organized job sites, vehicles, equipment, and installation areas throughout and at the end of each workday
  • Keep storage areas and vehicles organized, including restocking materials and supplies as needed
  • Monitor material usage to reduce waste and control project costs
  • Perform a final quality check with the customer after installation to ensure satisfaction
  • Unload vehicles and properly store tools, materials, and equipment at the end of each day
  • Other duties as assigned

Required Skills & Qualifications

Technical Skills

  • Crane truck operation, training, and/or certification experience
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders
  • Proficient in the safe operation of power tools, lifts, ladders, and other installation equipment
  • Accurate measuring, leveling, and alignment skills with strong basic math abilities
  • Working knowledge of hardware, fasteners, and mounting techniques for various substrates
  • Basic electrical knowledge
  • Working knowledge of computers and the Windows environment

Work Quality & Problem Solving

  • Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and quality workmanship
  • Ability to assess challenges and develop safe, effective solutions on-site
  • Ability to manage multiple projects while maintaining timelines and quality standards

Safety & Work Habits

  • Comfortable working at heights off a bucket truck/aerial equipment and in various outdoor conditions
  • Reliable, flexible, and professional in attitude, communication, and appearance
  • Ability to work early mornings, evenings, or weekends as needed to meet installation schedules

Education & Work Authorization

  • High school diploma, trade school certificate, or GED
  • Authorization to work in the United States
  • Valid Driver License
  • Massachusetts Hoisting License (1B, 4F, 2A)


Preferred

  • Hands-on experience with installation of interior and exterior signage or related trade
  • Knowledge of LED lighting and wiring for illuminated signs
  • Bucket Truck training, certification, or driving experience
  • Aerial Lift certified
  • Knowledge of electrical components and UL requirements and procedures
  • Post-Secondary Education or Equivalent Experience
