Job description

Job Duties:

We are seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our shower team! This position will lead the Spa/Shower experience for our residents. You will work alongside fellow caregivers to coordinate their needs and provide quality care for residents.

The primary responsibility of this position is to assist patients with showering and bathing as directed by their care plan:

  • Check each resident routinely to ensure that his/her personal care needs are being met in accordance with care plan
  • Assist patients with baths, showers, personal grooming, nail care, feeding, and toileting
  • Review care plans daily to determine if changes in the resident's daily care routine have changed
  • Assist with meals
  • Ensure that resident's beds are stripped down
  • Accurately document and chart patient care daily
  • Assist with call lights
  • Respond to call lights promptly
  • Lift, turn, move, position, and transport patients
  • Inform the Nurse Supervisor of any changes in the resident's condition so that appropriate information is entered on the resident's care plan.
  • Create and uphold an atmosphere of warmth, patience, enthusiasm, and a calm and cheerful environment.
Qualifications/Requirements:
  • Must be able to sit, stand, bend, lift, push, pull, stoop, walk, reach, and move intermittently during working hours
  • Exhibit excellent customer service and a positive attitude towards patients
  • Must be able to work in heated environment
  • Perfect Attendance
  • No counseling within 60 days
  • Strong time management skills
  • Keen attention to detail
