Temporary Shift Sanitation

Job Type: Temporary short-term position with the possibility of hiring full-time.

Position Time Frame: Start date, 6/15/2026 to 09/15/2026, with shift rotation every 28 days.

This position comes with a shift rotation that occurs every 28 days. The work shifts consist of an AM Shift, 8 AM-4 PM, a Swing Shift schedule, 4 PM-12 AM, and a Grave shift from 12 AM-08 AM. This schedule change will occur every 28 days. The swing shift comes with a differential pay of $1 per hour, and the grave shift comes with a differential hourly pay of $1.50 more per hour.

The Sanitation position will clean, wash, scrub, rinse, sterilize, and/or sanitize equipment and work areas to maintain a clean and sanitary environment. May use high-pressure hoses or nozzles, dry cleaning methods, or other cleaning and sanitizing methods as directed. Sanitation must be mindful of water usage; ensure solids are not washed down drains; and ensure that the spray from hoses is controlled and not directed at people, electrical equipment, or other equipment that may be damaged by water.

This position must keep areas and walkways cleared for safety reasons by doing such things as putting away hoses to avoid trips and cleaning up messes that are not specifically outlined on their checklists. Sanitation must always keep food safety and personnel safety a priority through the proper mixing, handling, and use of industrial-strength chemicals and cleaning agents.

The job requires rotating between day and night schedules every 28 days

Hourly Pay: $20.37

Must be able to stand or walk for up to 8 hours.

Ability to lift and move materials and items weighing up to 50 lbs. regularly.

Able to tolerate dust or chemicals.

Must not be affected by moving equipment and machinery.

Bending, stretching, lifting, reaching, climbing, crawling, grasping, crouching, and performing repetitive motions as required.

Learn and adhere to all safety policies and procedures.

Must be able to work weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed.

On-the-job training is provided.
