An exciting new opportunity opened for an experienced short-term congestion trader to join and become a core part of our US congestion optimization team. The US congestion trading desk at RWE manages the long- and short-term congestion exposure of our existing renewables portfolio. Our trading activities are focused around various ISOs across the US (e.g.

ERCOT, NYISO, SPP, MISO, PJM). Your role is to develop and execute trading strategies in multiple US congestion markets, develop and maintain our pricing models and to deploy trading capital to make profitable decisions. You will be managing, optimizing and maximizing the congestion revenues for our assets in the US. Furthermore, you will closely work with a fast growing team of energy trading professionals from diverse backgrounds. Responsibilities: * Develop, optimize and execute our short-term (day-ahead) congestion trading strategies in various ISO regions (e.g.
