Job description

Job Title: Spokane Shop Foreman - Heavy Duty Truck & Diesel

Summary:

Join FleetEasy Company of Family as a Shop Foreman in our Spokane Shop. Our Spokane shop is a small shop with great opportunity for growth. You will work alongside some great long-term team players. We need an A Tech that is capable of impacting the direction of the repair shop by owning customers, the customer repair experience, and the development of their repeat business in a working Foreman role. Age and years of experience is less important than the impact and attitude you have to build a long term experience. This role involves supervising and performing InShop and OnSite mechanical repair orders ensuring accurate diagnosis, competent repairs, and thorough recommendations. This position requires you have the unique ability to teach and develop other mechanics, willingness to solve and research solutions to any and all problems, and improve the abilities of our shop and company. You will be expected to contribute to the success of the Auburn shop remotely, and the dream team in Auburn will also contribute to your success. We also need you to have a Class A CDL so you can participate in emergency towing and recovery jobs with tow trucks and our rotator.

Shift Schedule:

Work 5 days per week, 7am to 3:30pm with additional On Call and weekend Overtime.

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise all mechanical repairs and service
  • Teach, train, and develop other mechanics.
  • Perform repairs and maintenance on fleet and heavy-duty vehicles in a well-equipped shop.
  • Conduct mechanical emergency road service calls using a well-equipped Sprinter van.
  • Ensure repairs and services meet quality standards and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications:

  • Class A CDL. Willingness and gung ho attitude to do odd jobs with heavy trucks and rotators for emergency situations.
  • Must be able to type proficiently, and must be strong with computers and all modern software.
  • Must be proficient in electrical and computer diagnosis, DVOMs, and a labscope.
  • Have proven experience in heavy-duty truck and diesel mechanics.
  • Valid driver's license with a good driving record.
  • Ability to pass a drug test and criminal background check.
  • Reside within 30 Google minutes of our Spokane Shop.
