Job description

AmeriFix (formerly known as TMT Automotive) isn't just another repair shop; we're a well-established leader in automotive repair, built on 20+ years of proven success. With 11 successful locations across Middle Tennessee - including EuroFix, AmeriFix, Mike's Automotive, and Brown's Body Shop - we're bringing that same proven model to Indiana and looking for Repair Shop Foreman to lead and grow our teams.
Aaron Stokes founded this company on a simple, powerful philosophy: honest, high-quality service at a fair price. That unwavering commitment has earned the trust of thousands and allowed us to grow from a one-car garage to where we are today. When you join us, you're not just a foreman; you're part of a team dedicated to that very principle.
You will be a great fit if you can lead a team of technicians and general service staff, maintain high-quality repairs and shop efficiency, coach and mentor your team, and help uphold a positive culture while contributing hands-on as a technician.
What do we have to offer?
  • Flat rate pay - get paid for the work you do, not just the time you spend!
  • Monthly Foreman Commission
  • Schedule that provides a work/life balance - say goodbye to late nights or weekends
  • Well lit, climate controlled shops
  • Free training and potential for ASE reimbursement
  • Tool Reimbursement
  • Christmas Club Program with Company Match
  • Up-to-date tools and technology
  • Health, dental, and vision insurance
  • Retirement program with employer match
  • Paid vacation time
  • Paid sick time
  • Off and paid on 7 major holidays
  • Competitive pay
  • Employer paid life insurance and long term disability
  • Company events
  • Short-term disability
  • Accident insurance coverage
  • Critical illness insurance coverage
  • Employee Assistance Program

What are we looking for?
Lead and Manage Technicians and GS Staff
  • Supervise and support all technicians and general service staff.
  • Provide coaching, guidance, and mentorship while maintaining a positive shop culture.
  • Set clear expectations and hold the team accountable for attendance, conduct, quality, and production goals.
  • Maintain leadership boundaries: ensure accountability without covering mistakes, bypassing policies, or using work assignments as rewards or punishments.
  • Protect the customer experience and company reputation by preventing avoidable errors and enforcing quality standards.

Training and Development
  • Identify individual team training needs and coordinate ongoing technician training.
  • Provide on-the-job training and guidance in diagnostics.
  • Direct staff to engage in available learning opportunities to develop skills.

Quality, Accountability, and Production
  • Enforce processes and quality standards to prevent losses.
  • Audit repair orders daily to ensure complete notes, sellable/warrantable recommendations, and correct parts.
  • Hold technicians accountable for attendance, conduct, quality, and production goals.
  • Oversee comebacks and warranty issues, identifying mistakes and preventing repeats.
  • Assist the GM with managing workflow and proactively dispatching work to meet production goals.

Leadership and Administration
  • Support the GM with recruiting, interviewing, onboarding, and written reprimands.
  • Conduct quarterly performance reviews and complete required leadership reading.
  • Inventory and maintain shop equipment and special tools; inspect for safety and report issues to GM.

Hands-On Work
  • Continue to function as a technician, ensuring that leadership responsibilities do not compromise customer service or shop quality.

Requirements
  • At least 5 years of automotive experience, with leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
  • Must be a team player with a professional attitude - culture is everything!
  • Strong work ethic with the ability to adapt and learn.
  • Own your own tools (specialty tools provided).

$35 - $42 an hour
