About Us:
EMS Truck Repair is a full-service heavy-duty truck and tanker repair facility located in Eugene, Oregon. As a licensed MAC LTT dealer, we specialize in keeping commercial fleets running strong across the Pacific Northwest. Our team takes pride in quality workmanship, customer trust, and a professional shop culture built around teamwork and safety.

Position Summary:

We are hiring a Level 2 or 3 Service Technician to join our growing team. This position is ideal for a skilled mechanic ready to take the next step in their career — whether you’re an experienced Level 2 tech looking to advance, or a seasoned Level 3 tech who can take on advanced diagnostics and engine work with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform a wide range of repairs and maintenance on heavy-duty trucks and tankers.

  • Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.

  • Conduct DOT inspections and maintain detailed service records.

  • Collaborate closely with the Service Manager and Foreman to ensure efficient workflow.

  • Maintain clean, safe, and organized work habits at all times.

  • Mentor and support junior technicians when needed.

Qualifications:

  • 2–5 years of diesel or heavy-truck repair experience.

  • Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.

  • Proficiency with industry tools and software (e.g., Cummins Insite, Detroit Diesel, etc.).

  • CDL Class A or B preferred but not required.

  • Must provide basic hand tools; specialty tools are provided.

  • Team-oriented, reliable, and committed to high-quality workmanship.

Schedule:

  • Full-time, Schedule 3 (Day Shift): Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM

  • Overtime may be available during peak periods.

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Pay Range: $25.00 – $37.00 per hour (DOE and skill level)
