Job Summary: Ensure the customer receives product which conforms to quality requirements


Major Accountabilities:

  • Communicates openly with others, keeping them informed of issues and progress, shares job knowledge and works effectively with others;
  • Verifies product quality using vision, measuring tools, gauges and fixtures;
  • Audits processes, procedures and documentation;
  • Conducts various test methods such as destruct testing, ultrasonic testing, cut and etch testing;
  • Identifies product and bins with labels and tags;
  • Maintains records and logs;
  • Notifies supervision of any safety, quality, material or mechanical issues;
  • Abide by all Company polices including, but not limited to the following: Health and Safety, Quality and Environmental Systems, Human Resources policies, and the Martinrea Employee HandbookQualification:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Metal stamping, welding, assembly, quality and material handling experience in a manufacturing environment;
  • Automotive Tier 1 Experience.
  • Knowledge of IATF 16949 and ISO14001:2015;
  • Internal auditing skills;
  • Ability to work in a team environment;
  • Ability to perform basic math;
  • Ability to keep accurate records;
  • Problem solving skills;
  • Computer proficiency;
  • Good verbal, written and interpersonal skills.
