The targeted hiring range for this full-time position is $52,000-$68,000 depending on qualifications; however, the expanded salary range provides opportunities for advancement. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and job location. Job Description

GENERAL PURPOSE OF JOB: 

This position is responsible for providing hands-on leadership including but not limited to operation, troubleshooting and continuous improvement of mechanical, electro-mechanical (including programming), and chemical production processes involved in manufacturing operations.   

ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Monitor and trouble-shoot manufacturing process performance to maintain optimum process efficiency, quality, and safety.  

  • Routine programming of software-based equipment (CNC/PLC/Robotics/Automation) and vendor engagement/management for such as required 

  • Lead and/or participate in creating mechanical assembly fixtures using CAD software. 

  • Provide leadership for assembling, testing and qualifying computer stitch pallets. Make modifications to stitch programs as required. 

  • Conduct in process quality tests to ensure processes meet requirements.  

  • Design and execute trials for experiments to validate process performance.  

  • Assemble & build new or modified equipment in accordance with drawings or instructions. 

  • Prepare documentation and instructional materials as needed to support operator training for production equipment and processes as well as conducting training as needed. 

  • Liaison with 3rd party vendors to facilitate equipment builds, installation and repairs. 

  • Lead and participate in continuous improvement initiatives for safety, quality and efficiency. 

  • Effectively collaborate and communicate with all internal and external team members.  

Qualifications

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE: 

Five to seven years related experience/training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.  

REQUIRED LICENSES, CERTIFICATES or KNOWLEDGE: 

  • Auto CAD or Other Mechanical CAD Experience 

  • PLC or C++ Programming (General Programming Experience) 

  • Working knowledge and understanding of Lean Manufacturing is mandatory
