The Opportunity
Williams International has an exciting opportunity for a Team Leader in Shipping & Receiving to join our team. The Team Leader in Shipping & Receiving will:
  • Lead team members in tasks associated with the shipment/receipt of engines and engine components
  • Train team members on policies and procedures, work duties, employee safety, etc.
  • Administer employee performance reviews, hiring, promotion, and disciplinary actions
  • Prioritize/assign shipping/receiving workload, including but not limited to priority (expedited) shipments, engine shipments, hardware shipments, STO's, and misdirected shipments
  • Schedule overtime requirements as needed to support schedule requirements
  • Order/maintain packaging materials necessary to support engine and engine component shipments
  • Respond to CARD Actions as necessary
  • Obtain and maintain Hazmat Certification (IATA and 49 CFR)

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in related field and a minimum of one (1) year experience in supply chain, manufacturing operations, or engineering -or- a minimum of four (4) years' experience in supply chain, manufacturing operations, or engineering
  • MS Office and ERP system knowledge is required; SAP preferred
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills are required
  • Responsible for product safety and the quality of work, including, as a minimum, all elements defined in the Company's Quality Policy
  • U.S. citizenship is required
  • Position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Government Security Clearance, if needed. Candidates selected may be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
