Rapidly growing consumer electronics distributor is seeking an experienced Shipping/Receiving associate to join our high-energy organization.  As a Shipping/Receiving associate, you will be responsible for ensuring timely and accurate dispatch of shipments as well as maintaining stock of all packaging and shipping supplies. The ideal candidate understands the importance of meeting deadlines and organization.

Job Description

We are seeking an individual who thrives on a challenge, and a desire to grow and succeed.  The ideal candidate must possess a solid understanding of the shipping/receiving processes in a warehouse environment.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and package outbound shipments (Fedex, UPS, USPS, etc)
  • Work with spreadsheets to document received/outbound shipments, inventory, and product flow
  • Label products, boxes, pallets according to established guidelines
  • Scan products using RF scanners, utilize scale to accurately weigh shipments
  • Collaborates with all involved departments
  • Acts in the role of buyer for warehouse supplies as required
  • Performs other duties as assigned
Qualifications
  • 2+ years experience in Shipping or equivalent warehouse experience
  • Experience with Amazon FBA is a plus
  • Punctuality and reliability is essential
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Excel is a plus
  • Ability to lift up to 50lb
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Exceptional English communication skills, both oral and written
  • Successful completion of drug test, and general background check
