Shipping & Logistics Coordinator (Office-Based)

Pay Rate: $20 – $21/hour
Location: Foothill Ranch
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Work Environment: Primarily office-based (minimal warehouse floor exposure)


Position Overview

We are seeking a Shipping & Logistics Coordinator to support daily shipping operations through ERP/WMS systems, documentation, reporting, and cross-department coordination. This role is office-focused and is not a hands-on warehouse shipping/receiving position.


Key Responsibilities
  • Review daily and future sales order requirements through the ERP system

  • Prepare, print, and verify shipping documents, labels, and order paperwork

  • Collect shipping data and create reports to support departmental metrics

  • Coordinate with Shipping Leads to prioritize and expedite urgent orders

  • Communicate with Customer Care to adjust or resolve order discrepancies

  • Troubleshoot shipping issues with customers, carriers, and drivers; escalate complex issues as needed

  • Schedule cost-effective freight carriers and daily pickups

  • Track order status, product availability, and shipment progress using WMS

  • Communicate with internal departments (Production, QC, Marketing, etc.) regarding order and product requirements

  • Train in and provide feedback on ERP system processes (D3FO)

  • Maintain a high level of accuracy, organization, and customer satisfaction


Required Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • 1+ year of experience in shipping coordination, logistics administration, or office-based shipping support within a distribution or manufacturing environment

  • Experience using ERP and/or WMS systems (MRP experience a plus)

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word for reporting and documentation

  • Strong communication and organizational skills

  • Ability to work independently and exercise sound judgment

  • Bilingual English/Spanish preferred


This Role Is Not a Fit If You Are:
  • Seeking a hands-on warehouse, forklift, picking, or receiving role

  • Primarily experienced in dock, loading, or physical shipping tasks only
