Summary: The Shipping Coordinator is responsible for coordinating shipment deliveries in an accurate and timely manner. The Shipping Coordinator will work directly with the product teams, drivers, and sales representatives.
Work Hours: Monday to Friday from 09:00 AM to 07:00 PM, 2 Saturday(s) a month from 08:30 AM to 01:30 PM
Seniority Level: Associate
Employment Type: Full-time
Compensation: This hourly, non-exempt position pays from $19.75 to $22.75 per hour, with overtime compensated at 1.5 times the base rate. New hires usually earn between $49,500 and $65,400 annually, or more, depending on experience, overtime hours, and bonuses.
To perform this job successfully, the individual must be able to do the following:
  • Schedules and coordinates deliveries with drivers and sales people.
  • Work with product team to maintain accurate inventory.
  • Maintains a high level of efficiency in the movement of trucks.
  • Performs clerical duties as needed.
  • Respond to other departments inquiries.
  • Control the warehouse activities including will calls, container unloading activities and transfers.
  • Enforce MSI's safety policies in warehouse.
  • Performs additional duties as required and or requested.

Additionally the candidate must meet the following education and experience requirements:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Must have 1 or more years of warehouse experience. .
  • Ability to follow verbal and written instructions effectively..
  • Experience with Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to multi-task.
  • Computer literate with knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • Must have excellent verbal and written communication skill.
