Description
Job Summary
This position is responsible for verifying and keeping record of all incoming and outgoing shipment at required quality standards while achieving maximum efficiency. Constantly assist and update supervisor and leads on shipping orders. More specifically, they are in responsible for organizing, sorting, and transferring the produce from one location to another. Will work with management to ensure efficiency and safety.
Primary Responsibilities and Duties:
  • Receive and process material orders daily, including accepting deliveries, labeling them, and distributing packages and letters internally.
  • Coordinate deliveries to customers and clients daily, including boxing goods, addressing packages, and staying in contact with shipping companies.
  • Maintain the company stockroom by cleaning, organizing, and labeling items in storage on a regular basis.
  • Keep records of goods that have been shipped and received, preparing regular shipping, and receiving reports for supervisors.
  • Place merchandise in the warehouse or storage facility by boxing and lifting items as necessary and operating forklifts and pallet jacks for large items.
  • Schedule large shipments and coordinate logistics to ensure that there is enough storage space for incoming items and personnel on hand to manage incoming shipments.
  • Perform customer service duties as necessary, maintaining good relationships with shipping companies and clients who are receiving goods.
  • Ensure that proper procedures are followed when handling organic products.
  • Update the drivers notes and shipping list as information it received.
  • Must be trained to implement proper calibration thermometers because It would be required to calibrate when thermometer dropped or when is necessary.
  • Always wear employee badge ID inside the facility.
  • Will be responsible for food safety activities

Other Responsibilities and Duties:
  • Maintain a clean and safe working area.
  • Follow the chain of command.
  • Do not leave job post/area without notifying the supervisor
  • Attention to detail and the ability to prioritize work to meet assigned deadlines
  • Perform all other related duties as assigned.

  • Goals- Accomplishments of annual goals established by supervisor and management.

  • Ensure personal protective equipment is properly utilized.
  • Report any noncompliance issues or unsafe situations/equipment to supervisor immediately.
  • Must follow company Good Manufacturing Practices.
  • Enforce and actively participate in general housekeeping duties.

Physical Demand and Work Environment :

  • Physical demands: While performing the duties of the job, the employee is occasionally required to walk; sit; stand, use hands and arms. Employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 65 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close and distance vision, color vision and ability to adjust and focus. Able to communicate Talk and hear.
  • Working Conditions: Ability to work flexible shifts, such as morning or evenings, including Saturdays and Sundays. Noise level is minimal. Ability to work with vibration, noise, heat, cold and moving parts. Ability to perform multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Ability to be punctual and reliable. Commitment to safety. Employee will be is in regular Extreme cold.
