Description:

The Shipping Clerk is responsible for processing and sending orders to customers. This requires preparing shipping documents, like packing slips, labeling items, and packing them into containers for shipping. Checking the details of orders, including the quantity and type of goods. Packaging items securely to prevent damage during transit. Arranging for pickup or delivery of goods, communicating with various shipping companies. Processing orders accordingly in Plex system as well as the UPS Worldwide and FedEx system. The Shipping clerk is responsible for managing the inventory of shipping materials and supplies. Maintaining records of outgoing shipments, including details of goods shipped, shipping methods, and tracking information. Verifying the accuracy of orders upon their arrival and sorting them accordingly

Requirements:

Proven work experience as a Shipping Clerk or similar role. Good understanding of supply chain procedures and hands-on experience with shipping software and databases. Excellent organizational and time-management skills. An ability to create and interpret technical documentation and a willingness to work flexible hours.

Ability to lift heavy objects. High school diploma: additional qualifications will be a plus
