This role is best suited for an exceptionally motivated candidate who demonstrates genuine interest in engaging with a diverse student body and possesses a deep-seated passion for fostering academic growth and knowledge. E Maintain competency in the field. E Minimum Qualifications An applicant may qualify for this position by having education and experience equivalent to the listed degrees. To be considered for equivalency, the candidate must submit college transcripts (transcripts must show degree was awarded or conferred with a completion date)and a complete description of work experience with his/her application.

Bachelor's of Science in a related field AND at least two (2) years of direct work experience in Electrical Technology or Alternative/Renewable Energy Technology; or equivalent OR Associate's of Science in a related field AND at least six (6) years of direct work experience as described in Electrical Technology or Alternative/Renewable Energy Technology; or equivalent OR Possess a State of California C-10 Electrical Contractor's License or an Electrical Certification by the National Center for Construction Education and Research AND Possess a registration by the North American Board of Certified Energy Practitioners (NABCEP) in Solar Photovoltaic and Solar Heating. AND Sensitivity to and understanding of the diverse academic socio-economic, cultural, disability, and ethnic backgrounds of community college students (AB 1725, 87360a).
