SelectRX is a high touch, technology-driven specialized medication management pharmacy. We engage virtually with patients to ensure accurate prescription records are maintained in order to achieve improved prescription drug adherence. SelectRX does this by providing a personalized clinical approach driven by a robust technology platform to track adherence with a world-class pharmaceutical packing and distribution facility.
About the Role
This role is located onsite and requires availability for our 7:00am - 3:30pm EST shift.
The Pharmacy Shipping Clerk or Shipping and Receiving Clerk is responsible for preparing outgoing shipments and receiving incoming shipments. Their duties include organizing inventory for easy retrieval as new orders come in reviewing incoming and outgoing shipment schedules to maintain productive operations and documenting damages to inventory.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
This position has no direct supervisory responsibilities.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Obtain and process orders including receiving deliveries registering them and distributing packages and letters within the company
  • Maintain the company stockroom by organizing cleaning and cataloging items on a regular basis
  • Schedule large shipments and plan logistics to ensure that there is sufficient storage space for incoming items and staff on hand to manage the shipments
  • Keep files of goods shipped and received by preparing regular shipping and receiving reports for managers
  • Handle issues arising in shipping and inventory handling
  • Ensure adherence to environmental management and systems
  • Troubleshoot shipping issues and customer complaints that arise and solve them
  • Place merchandise in a storage system by packaging lifting items as necessary and operating lifting equipment and pallet jacks for large goods
  • Performs duties and responsibilities according to the philosophy and standards of SelectRx including conveying courtesy respect enthusiasm and positive attitudes in work situations with clients peers and visitors
  • Maintains client and associate confidentiality
  • Responsible for understanding all applicable policies and procedures of the department necessary to perform essential job functions as well as the employee handbook
  • Responsible for other job-related tasks other than those stated above as directed by the VP of Operation as requested

Physical Requirements:
  • Prolonged periods of standing
  • Position requires the ability to bend pull or lift for the duration of the shift
  • Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds
