To handle duties of all incoming and outgoing materials in support of production.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned:

Adherence to established safety policies, procedures and practices

Supports the organization's efforts toward continuous improvement

Supports the organization's goals and values

Demonstrates teamwork by collaborating with others to improve overall standards of performance and service

Provides good customer service to all customers, both internal and external

Detect and report defective materials, equipment or facilities to immediate supervisor.

Maintain supplies at an adequate level.

Maintain work area in clean, orderly condition and practice 5S procedures.

Perform various duties as assigned.

Perform work in compliance with quality and environmental procedures.

Must be available to work flexible schedule with little notice as required by business needs.

Receiving:

o Verify all incoming shipments for accuracy (item, quantity, vendor, PO#) and accurately enter receipt into ERP system.

o After receipt of material, print and apply receiving labels to correct items.

o Responsible for warehouse organization, accuracy of storage and safety.

o Unload trucks in a timely manner.

o Maintain file of supplier packing slips and resolve receiving discrepancies.

Shipping

o Stage/prepare all product for shipping using Customer specified routing guides

o Create final shipping documentation (packing slip, custom documents, bill of lading, etc.) for each shipment.

o Maintain customer websites as required.

o Monitor/document all premium freight charges for outbound shipments.

o Resolve any shipping discrepancies.

o Maintain customer routing guides.

o Load outbound trucks and assist drivers with documentation

Adhere to all customer defined label/packaging requirements.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

High School Diploma/GED required, or one to three months related experience/training or equivalent combination of education and experience as determined by the interviewer.

Basic computer/Windows knowledge required. Must possess ability to learn various computer systems for data entry.

Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, government regulations, safety rules, operating, and maintenance instructions in the English language. Ability to write routine correspondence in the English language. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions in one-on-one and small group situations to customers or associates of organization in the English language.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:

Ability to add, subtract, multiply & divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
