About Jampack

Wholesale is 7x the size of e-commerce, yet the infrastructure is stuck in the 1990s. We're building the agentic operating system for wholesale that replaces spreadsheets, email chains, and manual data entry with autonomous workflows that just work. We recently raised a $3.2M seed round led by Maveron.

Jampack already powers high-growth brands like Fishwife, Immi, and PATH — handling everything from purchase order ingestion to freight coordination to invoicing and payment reconciliation.

We're a small, high-agency team building what doesn't exist yet.

The Role

Our forward deployed team is how we turn a signed customer into one who can't imagine operating without us. As a Forward Deployed Engineer, you sit at the intersection of engineering, operations, and customer partnership — embedding directly with CPG ops teams to map how their wholesale operation actually runs, then making Jampack run it.

This role is for someone who thrives in ambiguity, moves fast, and is genuinely curious about hard operational problems. You'll own the implementation lifecycle from kickoff through go-live — and you won't just configure the platform, you'll extend it.

What You’ll Do
  • Own customer onboarding end to end — discovery, integration, configuration, testing, and go-live — across our growing CPG customer base

  • Embed with operators to map their full purchase-order-to-cash workflow, surface requirements, and design the right setup on Jampack

  • Build and troubleshoot the integrations that make it all work — across EDI, ERP and inventory systems, accounting, and freight

  • Translate messy, real-world operational requirements into clean data models, configurations, and new product capabilities

  • Be the technical bridge between customers and engineering — turning what you learn in the field into a sharper product

What We’re Looking For
  • 3+ years in forward deployed, solutions, or implementation engineering, technical onboarding, or a similar customer‑facing technical role (CPG, supply chain, logistics, or ERP/integrations experience is a big plus)

  • Technical from first principles — comfortable with APIs, data models, SQL, and debugging integrations; you can read and write code when you need to

  • A systems thinker who can untangle interconnected people, process, and technology problems and put them back together with clarity

  • You thrive in ambiguity, move fast, and take ownership of outcomes — not just outputs

  • You care about the problem as much as the technology
